Mary at Point9 has been asked by her client to recruit 2 Quality Assurance Managers in the North East & North West for our high profile client.
Salary: £45-55k, Full-time Permanent

The Main purpose of the role is:
To take operational responsibility for occupancy, service standards and full regulatory compliance for your homes in the North East or North West region.

To provide leadership and management to Home Managers and others.

To take responsibility for the growth of a culture of continuous improvement and the development of external relationships with key stakeholders.

To communicate clearly to all colleagues the values and standards of the organisation, and the service goals for every Home.

To ensure that all regulatory standards are met in each home, and effective monitoring processes are in place for regulatory compliance and that care is provided to the values, policies and standards made explicit by the Company.

To provide effective support, supervision and appraisal for the Home Manager and other senior members of the Home Managers team.

To ensure that person-centred care is embedded in all services and that clear systems are in place to monitor outcomes for service users.

To ensure that all residents and patients are appropriately safeguarded.

To report on quality standards within the homes, developing, overseeing and regularly reviewing the implementation of agreed quality improvement plans.
To ensure that the physical environment in homes is well maintained, fit for purpose, and compliant with all legislative requirements.

To apply for this position you must have experience already as a Quality Assurance Manager within the care home sector.
Must be willing to travel around the North East or North West (whichever area you apply for)
Must be able to complete satisfactory CRB/POVA checks
Must be authorised to work in the EEC.
Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Must be able to provide 2 employment references
Must reside near the vacancy location or be prepared to relocate
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Good understanding and practice of the CQC code of conduct
