Inspire, a subsidiary of CareTech UK continues through a period of ongoing company development, and are therefore seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join us within the Stoke area.

Inspire's team work closely with children and young people, their families and significant others in Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North West to create unique, person-centred support packages to help them move positively into adulthood. We want to continue this growth further with the appointment of an Operations Manager, with proven experience in management within a Children's Residential or Health Care setting. The desired applicant will have the opportunity to develop and sustain a program of clinical quality compliance, in tandem with maximising training resources, to deliver superb quality care and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people with complex health and learning disabilities.

The chosen Operations Manager will be involved in the assessment of Young People accessing our services, in addition to providing training for the care team, supporting the Registered Manager with the completion of risk assessments and Care Plans for the Young Person. The individual will then support the quality and compliance framework to monitor the delivery of our care. Working closely with Inspire's Head of Service, Head of Development, Quality Assurance Manager and Registered Managers, you will ensure the continued success and development of our Service.

You will be an excellent communicator as you must be able to motivate others to achieve set targets; you will also be happy to travel to homes across the Midlands, Huddersfield and potentially further afield (a full driving licence is a must). Operational and Strategic

* To work with the Operations team to ensure that we can meet the day to day health care needs of the Young People in our care
* To review policies and procedures specific to the Inspire division, support operations teams to ensure understanding and implementation
* Ensure that the company's objectives are clearly communicated to care staff teams and that they are well understood
* To support the Head of Service to oversee and monitor the effective management of each residential home within the Service
* To proactively monitor the homes ensuring they are conducive to the effective care of young people with Learning Disabilities and complex needs and are facilitating progress towards their eventual transition
* To ensure lines of accountability and responsibility are clear within residential services
* To ensure systems are in place to support and develop Registered Managers knowledge
* To contribute to Annual Service Development Plans, to assist in implementation, monitoring and share progress and evaluations
* Work with Head of Service and Head of Development to maintain occupancy in line with capacity and enhance the stability of placements
* Assist Senior Management to achieve and evaluate customer satisfaction
* Work collaboratively to consolidate and implement a marketing strategy focusing on evidencing and enhancing the specialisms within the Inspire service
* Forge links with other external agencies and develop positive relationships with them, specifically CCG and Health colleagues
* Attend and chair relevant meetings and reviews specifically where there is a health focus
* To network with key agencies within the local area; promoting and supporting the business

Quality and Compliance

* To work with internal and external professionals to create a strategy for continual development of Inspire Homes
* Create home improvement plans alongside Registered Managers
* Work closely with Compliance and Regulation colleagues to implement findings from audits and meet training needs
* Where required, work with other Heads of Service to assist with any health care matters
* Develop the quality and consistency of service delivery where medication and health matters are concerned
* Develop and establish a practice methodology and reporting framework to evidence outcomes around health and medical needs
