Our client, who runs a purpose built modern home with specialist dementia care unit in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced and “hands-on” manager with a “can-do” attitude to head up the home.

This is an excellent opportunity and you will benefit from a salary of £40,000 pa (deep on experience) and the chance to join this well respected organisation who value and reward their staff team very well.
You will be an experienced Nursing Home Manager who is committed to delivering excellence, with a excellent understanding of CQC regulations. RGN/RMN qualification would be an advantage, as would a management qualification, but this is not essential.  Excellent Management skills and proven experience are a must.  Manager will be expected to register with CQC asap after commencing employment.

Essential criteria:
•    RGN or RMN qualification desirable but not essential
•    Hold RMA/LMA  
•    Minimum 3 years home management experience in a 40+ bedded home
•    Dementia knowledge and experience
•    Excellent communication and leadership skills
•    Knowledge of CQC essential standards

Must have previous experience in the role
Must be able to complete satisfactory CRB/POVA checks
Must be authorised to work in the EEC.
Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Must be able to provide 2 employment references
Must reside near the vacancy location or be prepared to relocate
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Good understanding and practice of the CQC code of conduct
